When looking for a trainer, be sure to know their qualifications, experience and areas of specialty. Based on this information, choose a personal trainer that best fits your needs.

Female and male personal trainers are available during regular YMCA hours.

Our trainers at the Melrose Family YMCA have a degree in fitness and/or a national certification such as ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) to name a few.

Full payment must be made when you register. We cannot reserve session times without full payment. There is a $5.00 processing fee for all credits. No refunds are given. If you fail to notify your personal trainer of a cancellation within a 24 hour period, you will be charged for that training session. The Melrose Family YMCA reserves the right to change trainers in the best interest of the member and the program.

The Melrose Family YMCA offers individuals the opportunity to invest in their health and fitness by working one-to-one with a certified personal trainer.
