The Melrose Family YMCA Main Street facility offers its YMCA participants onsite babysitting to allow a parent(s) to use the YMCA facility. The parent must remain on premises at all times.

Babysitting Hours

8:00 am - 12:30 pm - Monday through Friday
  4:30 pm -   7:30 pm - Monday through Thursday
7:45 am - 12:30 pm - Saturday

Babysitting Passes

All single and sibling passes will come with a one year expiration date
$3.00 - per hour per child
$18.00 - 7 hour pass
$36.00 - 14 hour pass
$51.00 - 21 hour pass
  $5.00 -  per hour Two-For sibling pass
$30.00 - 7 hour Two-For sibling pass
$60.00 - 14 hour Two-For sibling pass
$85.00 - 21 hour Two-For sibling pass



Melrose YMCA Babysitting Policies
 

Our Snack Policy

Babysitting at the Y is a food free environment. This is done to help avoid possible issues with allergies.

No Carriages

Carriages of any kind are not permitted in the Babysitting Room. Dirt from wheels remains on the floor and creates an unclean environment for our crawling babies.

Socks, Slippers, and Shoes

Little feet need to be covered with socks, slippers or shoes while in the Babysitting Room. It keeps their feet warm and cozy and helps prevent toes from getting stepped on.

A Safety Concern

Recently, small objects such as rocks, small cars and even coins have been found in our Infant Room. These are huge choking hazards for our little ones. Please help us by checking you child's pockets, small purses, etc. for small objects prior to entering our room.

Outstanding Balances

All members using babysitting who owe 2 hours or more will not be able to use the Babysitting Service until all outstanding balances are paid. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

We are always grateful for donations to our Babysitting room. Anyone interested in donating an item should please see any babysitting staff member
