Joseph Ingemi, Jr.
Joseph Ingemi, Jr., MPE, HFI, CSCS, is the co-founder and director of 1 to 1 Personal Fitness, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where he earned a Master's Degree in Physical Education with a major in Exercise Physiology. He also graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and a major in Athletic Training.
He currently holds certifications as a Health-Fitness Instructor (HFI) from the American College of Sports Medicine and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
He co-founded 1 to 1 Personal Fitness with Mary Soraghan-Ingemi which has been providing individuals with personalized fitness training and consulting services since 1986.

Mary Soraghan-Ingemi
Mary Soraghan-Ingemi, BS, RPT, is the co-founder and CFO of 1 to 1 Personal Fitness, Inc. Mary earned her degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University.
Mary has provided Physical Therapy treatment in acute care settings, outpatient clinics, early intervention and orthopedic rehabilitation settings. She has experience working with people of all ages. In addition to providing personal fitness training services to clients of 1 to 1 Personal Fitness, Mary has been instrumental in assessing and developing or modifying fitness programs for clients with unique orthopedic and/or health-related issues.
Mary has additional education in nutrition, Pilates, geriatric strength conditioning, functional assessment and postural screening. Mary, along with 1 to 1 Personal Nutrition's Nikki Yas, MS, has developed 1 to 1's successful "Choose-To-Lose" Fat Loss Program which promotes a sensible, effective and efficient approach to weight loss through healthy eating and exercise.

Bruce Cohen
Bruce Cohen, PhD, HFI, CSCS, received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Health, Exercise and Sport Psychology from Temple University; his Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Northeastern University; and his Bachelors in Psychology/Pre-Physical Therapy from Rutgers College.
He is certified as a Health/Fitness Instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine and by the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Cohen has over 20 years experience as a wellness/fitness consultant, coach and trainer having worked with the U.S. Public Health Service, Temple University, Continuum HealthCare, AreUFit Health Services, CIGNA HealthCare, Evolution Sports Science and the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine where he presently conducts research on Injury Prevention and Performance Optimization.
Dr. Bruce has been associated with 1 to 1 Personal Fitness since 1987. His Excusercise consulting service facilitates health behavior change by utilizing personalized psychosocial coaching programs to enhance an individual's health, energy, motivation, adherence, stress resilience, and performance levels.

Nikki Yas
Nikki Yas, MS, is a graduate from Tufts University where she received her Masters degree in Nutritional Biochemistry with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology.
Nikki began her career in nutrition as an intern at the UC Davis Medical Center working in the Nutrition and Exercise unit for Cardiac Rehabilitation. While pursuing her graduate degree at Tufts, Nikki served as the research coordinator for a Breast Cancer Research study, performed at both Tufts Medical School and New England Medical Center, investigating how diet and hormone profile play a role in breast cancer risk. She also has over 5 years of experience in nutritional supplement formulation and diet therapy.
Since joining the 1 to 1 Personal Fitness team in 2006, Nikki has implemented 1 to 1's Personal Nutrition counseling program and co-developed the 1 to 1 Personal Nutrition "Choose-to-Lose" weight-loss program with Mary Soraghan-Ingemi, BS, RPT.

Ted Bertini
Ted Bertini, MS, is a graduate of Northeastern University where he received a Master's Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Health Education from UMass Lowell.
Working in the health and fitness field since 1989, Ted has developed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for people of all ages. Specialty program design has included Phase IV cardiac rehab, senior fitness, youth fitness, and women's strength training.
Ted is a nationally certified YMCA Personal Training Trainer, Personal Fitness Program Director and Strength Training Instructor. He also serves as a Faculty trainer for the Y-USA's Foundations of Strength and Conditioning. This 16 hour course certifies both full and part-time staff as YMCA health and fitness instructors.
Ted has worked with the team of 1 to 1 Personal Fitness, Inc. since 1993.

Myra Green
Myra Green has a Masters degree in Social Work. For many years, she worked in a variety of settings as a manager, a clinician, a trainer and program developer. She discovered Pilates about 11 years ago and was captivated by how quickly it transforms bodies, increases energy and reduces stress. Five years ago, she transitioned out of social work to teach Pilates full time.
Myra is Stott certified to teach Pilates mat and equipment based exercises. She has additional trainings in anatomy, working with injuries and medical issues and postural analysis. Pilates dramatically improves posture, builds core strength and stability, reduces risk of injury, and enhances performance in sports and activities of daily living.
In addition to the private and duet sessions she offers at her fully equipped studio conveniently located in Woburn, she teaches at several other sites including group mat at the Melrose YMCA and at a local music school. She also works with clients of 1 to 1 Personal Fitness. Personal training sessions help keep clients motivated and provide a workout targeted to individual issues and fitness level.

Lisa Cataldo
Lisa Cataldo, PTA, B.S.: Has been working with 1 to 1 for the past 7 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Salem State College in Sports, Fitness & Leisure Studies with a concentration in Fitness. Also holds an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy from North Shore Community College.
She has extensive experience in the medical and fitness industries; working at local hospitals & fitness centers providing physical therapy services, cardiac rehabilitation and personal training.
Most recently she received her Advanced Mat Pilates Instructor Certification through Peak Pilates and is currently teaching classes at the North Reading School of Ballet.

Renee Petrocelli
Renee Petrocelli, PhD, has been working with 1-to-1 Personal Fitness since 2003. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware where she also minored in Coaching. Renee graduated from Simmons College in May of 2007 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and she currently works in an outpatient orthopedic setting treating patients of all ages and injuries.
Renee also has a strong interest in focusing on women's health issues. As a personal trainer with 1 to 1 Personal Fitness, Renee has worked with a variety of clients including high school athletes, individuals recovering from injuries, as well as individuals simply looking to live a healthier lifestyle.

Janice Wilk
Janice Wilk, B.S., is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiovascular Health and Exercise. She has spent most her professional career working in the corporate fitness industry for Sun Microsystems and Fitcorp.
Her corporate experience includes positions of Fitness Manager and Aerobics Director with a staff of over 20 instructors. She has also worked as an Aerobics Instructor for over 14 years. She has specialized in prenatal and postpartum exercise as well as senior fitness classes.
Since joining the team of 1 to 1 Personal Fitness, Inc. in August of 1994, Janice has worked with people of all ages and fitness levels. She currently holds an Advanced Mat Pilates Certification thru Peak Pilates. Janice not only integrates Pilate's exercises into personalized programs for 1 to 1 Personal Fitness clients but she currently teaches Pilates classes at North Reading School of Ballet.
